It’s not like it would be the only thing I show them. It’s ultimately about the joy of sharing something you enjoy with someone else and it’s ok to be bummed that that thing is tainted by its vile creator. I enjoyed Animorphs and lots of other book series, but potter was on another level.

The best builds I’ve had are all focused on raising dead enemies to fight for you and Hephaestus blast damage, which makes the most of individual attacks when otherwise focusing on evading boss AOE attacks.

I’m enjoying Hades 2 but holy moly does it feel a lot more punishing than the first one. Run to run it’s much less satisfying.

I’ve found one, maybe two effective builds in my 40+ runs with only a single clear. Between the lower health pool, slower dash, and attack charge-up times, I’ve struggled.

And don’t even get me started on the boss AOE attacks. Absolutely brutal when you get one dash with a long cooldown.

It also feels like they took the “doubling down” approach to a sequel with more resources, more characters to talk to, more stages, etc. Sometimes it works and sometimes it makes runs feel like a chore. I’ll go an entire region and get one boom and go, “oh so this is a resource run only, got it.”

This perfectly describes the media’s favorite type of undecided centrist who you can pander to all you want at the expense of vulnerable groups but they are gonna vote republican each and every time. Better to just spend the time and money pursuing those vulnerable groups and their allies instead.

I feel like it’s a clear reflection of who the actual audience is for the NFL right now. MAGA can bitch and moan about it, but at the end of the day they are a shrinking audience that is too fickle to cater to for the biggest game of the year.
