A fired-up Celtics team, and crowd, rides the best effort of the season to its best win
The Celtics played their best game of the season on Wednesday night, but not because of their execution. It was because they never let up. They fought through early struggles and missed shots. After a...

The Knicks and Heat won tonight, so the Celtics have been eliminated from the NBA Cup, despite their win over Detroit.

Cunningham missed the third free throw. Pritchard gets the board and is fouled
November 27, 2025 at 12:45 AM
Celtics had that play defended perfectly from before the pass was made. What a play

Derrick White picked a hell of a game to break out of his slump
November 27, 2025 at 12:23 AM
Celtics and Pistons have switched roles of who plays the top seed annoyingly tough when this should probably be an easy game.

Mazzulla has said all season that the team has to offset rebounding with other things. They've allowed 16 2nd chance points, but have 15 so they're only -1. They're +10 in points off turnovers.

Great cut by Walsh, great find by Brown
November 26, 2025 at 11:34 PM
Joe Mazzulla putting a lot of faith in Minott and Scheierman with that challenge and it pays off. Successful challenge.
November 26, 2025 at 10:56 PM
Baylor Scheierman's spinning pass to save that possession has the crowd hyped. And he just hit the Payton Pritchard fake/spin middie and the Celtics open the 2nd on a 9-0 run
November 26, 2025 at 10:48 PM
Amari Williams with a little Daniel Theis/Marcin Gortat action there
November 26, 2025 at 10:31 PM
Pritchard was really working on those stepback 3-pointers after yesterday's practice. Spent a lot of time on different variations of them
November 26, 2025 at 10:29 PM
Amari Williams is checking in and making his Celtics debut
November 26, 2025 at 10:25 PM
The Celtics should definitely keep attacking, but also the should not be taking the contested layups. Those need to kick out to soften up the defense and get clean looks

Joe Mazzulla says Neemias Queta is day to day

Consistency is the goal, but Boston's life outside the comfort zone makes it hard to find so far
Everyone has to do a lot of different things, and no one is truly comfortable in these new roles just yet. That means wins can turn into losses and losses can be flipped into wins, but for Mazzulla, t...

Hard to say exactly, but I don't expect them to have an alibi
How ugly do you envision that being?
November 25, 2025 at 9:56 PM
Neemias Queta is officially out tomorrow vs Detroit
November 25, 2025 at 9:53 PM
Celtics chances at advancing are slim. Atlanta beating Washington tonight eliminates them. Celtics losing to Detroit tomorrow would also eliminate them.

Karalis: Boston's bench guys are growing as players, but the stars are also learning important lessons
Growth comes with some aches and pains. Games like this one against Orlando, where they were both awesome and awful, are great examples of that. But it’s growth nonetheless, and everyone will be bette...

Jaylen Brown had his 8th 30-plus point game of the season tonight. The most 30-plus point regular season games for Brown was 22, coming in the 22-23 season. He's on pace for 38 this year over 82 games.
November 24, 2025 at 3:14 AM
Jett Howard has 22 of Orlando's 40 points in the 4th. Jase Richardson has 14. Desmond Bane is the only starter who has played in the 4th and he has the other 4 points. Wild quarter for Orlando.
November 24, 2025 at 1:29 AM
The Celtics shot 18-23 (78.3%) in the 2nd quarter on their way to 48 points. They were 5-7 from 3
