Here and in many other places, call it decentralisation. Marginally active. Mostly local government data, strategy, policy, comms, insight.

Ah yes the three main dietary requirements. Gluten free, dairy free, and spooky.
You could ignore the gilt market in isolation, though.

His point is you could pay back every penny of debt tomorrow by ordering the Bank of England to print money.

No debt, no 8%, no interest payments.

The problem if you did that, under normal circumstances, would be the currency market...
Dean Court so pretty much Botley.
Yes as ever the answer is to store the bike in the back of a van and park the van.
Then I tried this one and this happened.
Yeah lamp posts are exactly what I tried. First I tried this one and the householder stormed out to inform me that despite appearances I was in his garden not on public land.

What fun can we have with this dataset this year? How about... every pollution measurement in every location in 15 seconds?

I'm taking requests... @annarailton.bsky.social
I feel like one of these things is not like the others.
Feels like when the government said "Hey you 700,000 people split into however many units you want but each unit should be about 500k or more", well, the algebra isn't hard.
Feel free to try and make your own. It's actually quite hard to get to the high population numbers and make the remnants look sane.

Little bit ironic.
If not friend then why is friend-shaped?
@augstone.bsky.social I thought you might appreciate something scarvy, at this time of year.
May I get back on my "single continuous service scheme for the civil service, NHS, and local government" hobby horse? Losing redundancy protection, among other complexities, is a huge psychological barrier.
Had an account here for ages, never posted and the longer it lasts the longer you overthink the first post.

Here we go. Tableau + Topical Issue + Maps, that's definitely on brand. Build your own local authority.

Possibly not very mobile-friendly, sorry.
