The endless geography in Utah never senses to amaze. From corner to corner there’s something to explore, discover, and experience. These places give you perspective, and leave you researching how they were formed over a millennia ago.

Visiting places like this leaves me in a stupor of thought and leads me to researching the mysteries of how concretions like these were formed.

While some may follow unoriginal social trends of saying these are “otherworldly”, it’s this world that constantly amazes me.

As I spend more time in the desert, they became more and more meaningful.⁣

The soft pastel colors of the ambient sky soaked into the white mudstone of these eroded spires. The arch/hole on the left side particularly caught my eye as a unique feature.

Thanks. It was a spectacular morning.
Photography changes the way I visit a place. While others are crowded around a viewing area, I wonder far away, looking for subtle subjects. It allows my conscious to slow down, enjoy more, and connect deeper with my surroundings.

I used a focal length blend.
A lone comet in the sky is cool, but when paired with something interesting it really tells a story.
Thanks a bunch 👍🏼
My home state of Utah. 🙌🏼
Thanks. I’m happy with what I found out there.
Thanks so much Liam.
Went out to find some salt formations and reflective foregrounds to pair with the amazing C/2023 A3 #Tsu-Atlas #Comet making it's once every 80,000 year appearance.

If you read the caption in the post, I specify which side of the Tetons this is. Hint, it’s not the Jackson side. 😅
Thanks. The low angle of the sun really accentuates the formations.
I believe they are the sand dunes type of dunes. 😉
Yeah, this isn’t your typical area looking at the Tetons. Haha.
Yes, used a focal length blend.
Ahhh that’s wonderful.
