Another good find in your garden. The Beech hedge reveals another species.
That is a great haul from the ex Trout Farm, could be some real surprises there in the future.
With not much else in the Broadwey trap, at least one of @paulupwey.bsky.social Brindled Green's finally got to me.
Bit concerning when a Kingfisher is using a boat.
Pleased to see you are back and finding some nice birds.
Cracking images, so that means you are back and my moth count will now drop to single digits. Looking forward to more Azores images.
Amaryllis Belladonna known as Jersey Lily, probably more appropriate being Azores Lily.
The bird list in coming along nicely. Is that a huge patch of Hydrangea's in the foreground.
This Tuta Absoluta (tomato leafminer) trap overnight 7/10 at Broadwey Dorset, have attached my poor image. Phil Sterling has now confirmed id. @paulupwey.bsky.social @migrantmothuk.bsky.social
As expected you are getting to see some great wildlife.
PS, have sent a reply to your email.
Well certainly did not expect to see that. So what other oddity will be seen.
With thanks to @paulupwey.bsky.social for the id of this Hellula undalis, Old World Webworm. A new moth from my Broadwey Dorset trap.
Have a great time, hopefully you have taken the remnants of Storm Amy with you so I get a chance at the Moths.
Just had a Wall butterfly in my Broadwey garden @dorsetbutterflies.bsky.social. did not stay for a pic.
The BG's are still avoiding my trap, that is a smart semifascia.
Pink-barred Sallow was the only moth of interest from last nights Broadwey Dorset trap.
Clancy's Rustic and Grey Shoulder-knot from last nights Broadwey Dorset trap.
Bit of a surprise to have Buff Arches in last nights Broadwey Dorset trap.
So you are still getting Clancy's, they just do not like my traps this year.
Brindled Green not got here yet this year, but I know where the Black Rustic's have been, the 2 (field trap) I had this morning makes it 7 so far. But like you not much else around, tonight and tomorrow could be better.
You did very well keeping Brie happy for so long.
Always used to get GS's at the small cress beds down the road from Magiston. Probably no longer used now.
So some good birds again at Silverlake, any chance you can point a Clancy's this way, not had one so far this year and the BS would also be appreciated.
Feathered Brindle and Black Rustic from last nights Broadwey Dorset trap.
