Friends - 24 years today at 5.28pm, during the clean-up and recovery at GZ, roughly 8000lbs of steel crushed my left foot. DO NOT FEEL SORRY FOR ME! Because I am lucky and my story pales in comparison to those with 9/11 cancer. Today is my day of remembrance and a reminder to do better. #Service

Friends - I/we are off to DC for two of 100 plus meetings. We are tired & exhausted, but far from defeated. We know have 81 cosponsors on H.R1410. 48,475 people now have a 9/11 related cancer. That is more then 1 in 3. That alone is our motivation. Congress I am coming and I will be wearing bells.

Friends - 18 years ago today, I donated my kidney to a complete stranger in a 6 person swap. Passing legislation, donating millions, building a park does not compare to giving the gift of life to someone that can never repay, except live a long healthy life. #Humbled #Blessed #KindneyDonation
