I have a drone, I am not very good at it.

Find me on the Lensless & lo-fi podcast.
I see the fanny hawkers are now arriving here in more numbers 😡

For no specific reason my video of the blow down today didn't happen..... It took exactly 1 second of video & stopped.
However I did get to see it and experience it first hand so that's a bonus.
Images taken by my drone yesterday and today.

Shot on my Widelux 1500 (now moved on) these images feel different, the medium format lends a something to images. It is just a shame I couldn't quite gell with its focus & the aperture inside the lens.
A simple camera that was complicated by this.
I prefer the simplicity of no focusing. #widelux

A couple of bendy buildings, Glasgow.
Bluefire film, bluefire developer.
This is what happens when you point your widelux in a vertical fashion
One of those signs has had a blatant spelling mistake for years 😱

I think this station entrance was in Rotterdam.
It caught my eye, wherever in the Netherlands it was.
#Widelux swing lens panoramic goodness on Kodak 250d.
I have reprocessed it to finally bring out what I felt I wanted to show when I took the image.

Glasgow Parkhead Forge.

I love the geometry in the forge, even though it is completely out of context with the red sandstones surrounding the area.

Thanks to the generous spirit of the #filmphotography folks
@nikandtrickphoto.bsky.social managed to hit their target and have ordered up some of this new to the market film stock.
I can’t wait to try it 😊
This isn’t a rebrand or anything, it’s a new product from lucky finished off by Shanghai

I love the quality of the winter light in Glasgow.
The golden glow never really goes away, this was taken not long after 12pm when the sun is as high as it goes.
Kodak 250d at 200.
There were reflections everywhere making it difficult with swing lens cameras. #streetphotography #glasgow

I was out for a quick stoat about yesterday in Parkhead area.
Armed with my widelux (as ever) my KMZ ft2 (trying something in it) and my Reto UWS
I do tend to favour verticals. I have noticed this over the years

Proper camera pron
My widelux cameras. + an anomaly

On 1/15th
The f7 takes 6.7 sec
The f6 takes 3.7 sec
Both consistent over at least 10 tries
No difference in image
Anyone else care to time theirs ?
See what it is?

From back when I was still taking on commissions.
Now it’s too much drama.
It’s easier to just sell stuff online 😂 Though not as profitable.
Inside of Frasers Glasgow.
Many of the images from the shoot are still hanging in the store.
Taken before the store opened.

Idiot Driver exposed.....
What kind of idiot drives down to a corner on the wrong side of the road. Then continues when it is obvious they do not have right of way + there is a car coming.
The wide angle of this makes it look like I was far further away than I was. #idiotdrivers

One of the relatively untouched alleyways in Glasgow City, has the original surface, the metal edges & some of the ghost signs. Not sure why the bottom part is painted white but there will be a reason.
The tasma film I used has a deep fogging right down the middle, weird.... #filmphotography

The BOAC building Glasgow City Centre.
An oddity from the architecture design house that was Gillespie, Kidd & Coia. Known for their brutalist buildings, this one is considered brutalist but not.
Copper clad concrete.

Glasgow "street" scene
Canon EOS1n Nikon 35mm PC lens Tasma Type 42
I have shifted the horizon down by using the full 11mm rise on the lens here.
It adds a different depth to people and buildings.
It was hellishly dark shooting at f2.8 iso 400

I do love the subways and I do street photography + combine both.
I have been a member of a scottish street facebook group since it started about 9 years ago. They knocked this subway one back as an architectural photo
However I looked through my images, last 1 has even less human by proportion.
