I am very much looking forward to listening to the latest episode of the Massey College podcast.

PhD candidate Rachel Tyli is brilliant, a gifted communicator, and her research is important. She's working to make respirators better for first-responding paramedics and firefighters

This is why showing up, doing in-person journalism matters.

Sebastian Bron's story on the police budget is the only one with how Police Board member's voted. He was in the room to see the vote.

I was watching via video [travelling attending a milestone], and it was not displayed. #yhmcc #HamOnt

Council quickly adjourned. Turns out they could not move amendments to the water budget because they defacto set some of the rates in October when they passed stormwater fees at Council.
Amendments need to be made at Dec 10 ratification meeting. #yhmcc

Hamilton's public transit system has begun posted winter weather related detours.

The usual locations, narrower sidestreets.

The HSR has *not* implemented winter storm bus adjustments. Articulated buses are in service, the City of Hamilton does not expect any major snowsquall bands today. #HamOnt
