ooo the corvette update's pretty cool too! It's been really handy having one around as a light-weight middle ground between a freighter and a regular space ship. My current corvette is pretty basic but it does get the job done and has enough space for all my storage and facilities.

Been playing No Man's Sky a bunch and getting really into making a museum base.

It was easy to not have to look up numbers when we had maybe 5 numbers we called regularly and everyone else lived within walking distance.

Also yes, we did write stuff down, we had address books, we wrote numbers on envelopes, stop lying to yourselves that we somehow had superior memories lmao.

Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?

I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

Pretty interesting that Twitch hasn't paid me for playing ads on my streams since May, ever since advertisers can opt out of advertising on streams marked 18+ because they're scared of damaging their brand.

Only for ads to still play on my stream, just without being paid.
