Offense by committee (with committee head Pat Spencer) and defense by committee (with committee head Quinten Post). Huge win that should've been the second in a row. But these have been games of discovery and growth.

Always a sweaty time whenever you allow the opposing star to get a shot off in an end-of-game situation, but this is a timely and clutch switch by Gui onto Mitchell arond the screen to make Mitchell's shot very, very difficult.

Quinten Post, rim protector has been fun to watch tonight

Offense by committee with Pat Spencer at the head of that committee. His back cut triggers this bucket by GP2.

Dubs are moving the heck out of that ball. Gui attacking Garland's closeout while GP2 cuts inside creates the open three for Spencer.

Sometimes all you need is luck and shooting variance in your favor. Gui and GP2 spend too much time trying to figure out on the fly who should be taking Mitchell in transition and almost cough up a rhythm three. Fortunately for them, it misses and Podz's rhythm three goes in.

Side ballscreen for Moody and look at how everyone else shifts in the same direction as Moody drives to his right. Defense already has to account for the drive, now that Gui moves from the dunker to the right corner, no defender has eyes on him. Moody sprays to Gui in the corner.

JK slot cut from the weak side to take advantage of not being guarded out on the perimeter. Need more of it from him.

Post's improvement as a defender has been impressive. What strikes me the most is his discipline -- doesn't bite on fakes, moves his feet, and stays in front.

Warriors at the half @ CLE

ORTG: 100.0
DRTG: 80.0

The 6th-best defense in the league (non garbage time) doing work defensively, even while offense continues to largely be an adventure (although good offense was had to close the half).

These have been good Podz minutes

Warriors┃ "Thumb Out"

Podz calls "Thumb Out" so they get into their ball screen into touch action set. The flow is good, gets the Cavs defense in rotation, capped off by a nice blade cut by GP2 for the bucket. Offense has gotten into a bit of a groove.

Dubs are dishing out the aggressive hedges against Darius Garland. Daring him to make a decision against high pick-up points and hard shows.
December 7, 2025 at 1:26 AM
Look at how Spencer's movement off of split action creates this open three for Buddy.

Just making things happen on offense on a night the Dubs need all they can get offensively.
December 7, 2025 at 1:19 AM
High ballscreen SLOB between Spencer and Post and we are blessed with another no-dip Post three.
December 7, 2025 at 1:16 AM
Dubs defense has been rotating and playing on a string. They've been getting stops and making the Cavs work.

The offense just hasn't responded to the stops.
December 7, 2025 at 1:14 AM
The little details defensively on this possession. Spencer being able to navigate around the screen. Richard with the stunt vs. the Mobley pop to create slight hesitation on Mobley's part, in order to allow Post to close out and contest the shot.
December 7, 2025 at 12:51 AM
Post with the three but it's been really fun seeing how much he's improved defensively.

Warriors (11-12) are taking on the Cavaliers (14-10) tonight.

Thoughts about lineups, rotations, schemes, Xs and Os, adjustments, or anything in general?

Jordan Poole erasure!
The Warriors have not drafted a player worth mentioning since Draymond Green. 13 years of futile draft picks has kept Steph Curry from getting his 5th ring.

🚨NEW WORDS🚨

For @SportcastingNBA.

Nothing can ease the heartbreak produced by the Warriors' 98-99 loss to the Sixers. But Pat Spencer and De'Anthony Melton provided some semblance of hope, however little it may be, for an ailing team.
