Good Morning, I'm Joel Lamb. I Run the youtube channel "Studio Jlamb" where I make animated video essays on cartoons. I also Play Minecraft, write Music and songs, and I'm even working towards making my own cartoons.

This is unironicly one of my favoret tropes, but for the longes time, it was very female coded. The blond haired b*tches i called them, Cloe, Pasifica, Sasha ext. I used to only have Winter to prove the trope was gender nutral, but more keep showing up and i am happy!

Between Jax from AMDC and Angle from Hazben we realy have been spoiled with male "Sheep in Wolves Clothing" characters recently.

But the more i think about it, the more it makes sense and is alot of fun.

Odisus clearly loves his son just as much as his wife, but he never got to truly know him before he left for war. So while odie knows and loves His wife and is constantly thinking about who she is-

More EPIC thoughts:

At first i was kinda anoid with how disproportionately Penelope is set up as oposed to Telemachus. Both her instrument and her motph is used constantly leading up to us meeting her, but when we meet Telemachus the has a completely new motif and instrument.

Also having the line "We've suffered and sailed through the toughest of hells" while you are literally in the underworld?

Like, Hell isn't a thing in the Greek mitholigy. Hades is the name of the god of the underworld, but saying "hell" in this context makes no sence.

As much as i love epic i still hate the line "When dose a comet become a medior." as a metaphor for a man becoming a monster. It's when it enters the earth's aphnespher.

in the actual show, i think alot of the charterers get alot more range, but one of my goals with this series is to keep the charterers constant with there cannon, literal cardboard cutout versions, wile still adding depth and nuance and actual character

But it sometimes it restrictive.

Bobby is a trusting loving character so i like to draw her with her eyes closed to express that. i don't know if the fact that i always draw her like that is great for characterization or makes her feel more flat.

It's fascinating to see how characters express themselves with there...expressions. I think it tells you alot about a character whenever they have a consitant face. like in TheSmilingClubhosue Kickin' is always smirking, Catnap has half closed eyes, Hoppy is owoing ...
