Obscurity is a good place to toil, the best actually.
Like the Bible, the Epstein files are a multivocal text.

Homan: "ICE is a legitimate federal law enforcement agency. We're not out scouring the streets to disappear people or deny people their civil rights or due process."

Proposal: implement comprehensive, no-fee national voter ID. Make it a requirement for voting in national elections, and tie enforcement to reaching an 80% EV adoption rate.

Thinking seriously about migrating my GitHub stuff to Codeberg. You can find/follow my account at codeberg.org/joeld. I have enjoyed GH as a social network of people making cool stuff, maybe more so for that than for the actual git hosting. Hoping for a nice fungal network transition.

It’s far more likely they’ll wait for the results and then just raid local offices strategically after the fact.

A guy filming himself saying "we have breaking news" is not a source. He might have sources, in which case he should provide links.

I’m seeing non-local folks admit to subscribing to the republican-owned Minneapolis Star Tribune. This is not the move. If you want to fund local journalism, Racket MN is writer owned and deserves to grow.

I was about to dump the logs of bounced emails into Claude to get lists that I could give to the intended recipients to follow up on. Then I learned that Proofpoint has a feature that lets you resend the bounced emails, so that solved the issue in my case.

you're not, which is worse. A huge portion of the emails were actually BOUNCED back to the sender due to the way in which delivery failed. There are a lot of emails that the recipients will never see unless the sender re-sends them.

I’m not debating all that. It’s pretty plain why Schumer specifically doesn’t have much credibility with people who want to see change, even before the ’24 election.
