I read my copy of @collisionforce.bsky.social #1 by Jarrod Burris, @joekazmer.bsky.social, Chris Johnson, and team, and it was the hard-R, macho, tongue-slightly-in-cheek action bloodbath I expected from the Kickstarter. It reminded me of the fourth Rambo in the best possible way. I’m in for #2.

Latest shipment of comics arrived (no local shop) and it's been a treat so far. Dick Tracy is hard as nails, Red Before Black has a fun, fitting finale, and Youngblood 4 was a treat. Rob Liefield's panel layouts in particular are so dynamic and refreshing vs. modern comics.

Dick Tracy is my first read on my pull list. Every aspect of the book is top notch- the story, dialogue, art, page layouts, colors, letters. @geraldoborges.bsky.social crushed it on this issue. Tracy in the diner, the bank robbery splash page- everything is executed with expertise. Read this comic!

While reading Lone Wolf & Cub for the first time, I asked myself "Is this the best comic series ever made?" Looking forward to reading this again in these new Deluxe Editions and answering that question. It's top 3, for certain. Koike and Kojima are master storytellers.

My latest shipment of comics arrived, and it was strong. What I've read so far, like the latest GI Joe: ARAH, Jimmy Broxton's Fully Loaded, Dick Tracy, Heat Seeker, and Youngblood have all been fun. Final Fight was a great riff on one of my favorite arcade games.

To each his own. When I pay $80 for a UFC PPV, I'm perfectly happy with a 3-4 hour show. For a typical AEW PPV, 4 hours would be plenty, especially if it's a work night.

I'm going to All Out next month. I'll be plenty happy with 4 hours vs. 5 hours. We'll see, I suppose.
