Computing is literally so astounding.
I just stopped for a moment to think about all the tech in place for me to do an OTP auth onto a website and freaked out.
SMTP, DNS, TLS, HTTP, databases, queues, load balancers...all so a six-digit code can travel the world in seconds.

#Superman2025 was almost perfect. James Gunn nailed it, pretty much. I still love Corenswet and Cavill as Superman. I enjoyed all of it.

I am a big admirer of @swift.org and I am hopeful that swift on the server can improve. I really enjoyed learning the language while writing two toy apps.

There are a lot of things I don't like about @microsoft.com Windows, Recall, etc but the best things from them are @dot.net @typescriptlang.org @vscode.dev I don't know where we would be without these technologies. I have a lot of joy using these daily.

I did the unthinkable today, I removed @Copilot from @code.😱😱😱
The ai noise gets in the way of my thinking about things. It does make one fast, but I need some peace and quiet, so I can think...

Blazor and tailwindcss 4 is one of the worst experiences ever. 😡. Blazor just stopped working with the generated css file. Nothing. Tailwind cdn works though, it's just not great. Does this mean with blazor you must use bootstrap? 🤕surely not.

You can write react and be fairly naive, not worrying about performance...just continue writing React that way for the most part. Only introduce Perf enhancements when you have a problem
- Brian Holt.
I agree 100%.

I've been programming for 20+ years and using C# for 15 of those years. I have very little "memorized" because it truly serves little purpose after some foundational things that just become muscle memory.
What are your thoughts? How much do you go out of your way to memorize?

For those that didn’t hear, FA is now paid for commercial use at $130/dev… all for supporting OSS but this is quite excessive.
Personally, I’ll be pinning my version until I can migrate to shouldly. Hopefully just a few global replaces like with Moq last year. I’ve been wanting to try it so 🤷♂️

We’re thrilled to announce the release of Fluent Assertions 8, our first version in collaboration with Xceed Software! This milestone marks the beginning of an exciting partnership that brings together our vision for Fluent Assertions with Xceed’s decades of expertise in .NET tools.

Time to learn and use @tanstack.com router. I used react-query a bit and didn't regret it. Looking forward to the router. @tannerlinsley.com did say CSR is 🤴

Sickness is a harbinger of death... but the life-giving Spirit of Jesus quickens or makes our bodies alive, thereby freeing us from the foreshadowing of death via sickness.

This is 150% why I built @tanstack.com Router first. CSR is 👑 and I don’t see that changing any time soon. If you’re building a CSR React app, you deserve to use the best CSR router.

What kind of React app do you get paid to work on (not hobby projects)?
- CSR, no SSR
- Isomorphic SSR
- RSC
Again, if you don’t use React at a paid gig, don’t reply. If you maintain multiple, reply with the one that makes the most money (the product, not yourself)

I have been coding away from .Net and C# for 2 years now and use C# for weekend projects. I have come to love minimalapis because it does away with a lot of the "ceremony" that quickly becomes drudgery when using Controllers. Using TS or swiftlang, the ceremony isn't that bad.
