I remember reading how some English veterans returned their OBEs when the Beatles were awarded a similar honor back in the day.

I never understood that feeling so vividly until now, and I've never even been given the Medal of Freedom.

Ironically, as a kid, 'Platoon' for the NES was my video gaming Vietnam.

It taught me that one cannot always accept as gospel the positive reviews of the gaming press.

I'm still bitter four decades later over paying full retail for that piece of shit.
