51 runners and walkers joined us and we had 14 brand new personal bests 👀. We welcomed 8 first-timers including 7 people getting their barcodes scanned for the very first time. Hope to see all of you back for Joe Creason 301 this Saturday at 8:45!

In a little less than a month (Oct 11) we'll be hosting our 300th free weekly 5K! We've been providing Louisville a free, regular, hassle-free way to get together and get a little exercise since April 2018. We'd love to have a huge crowd that morning so tell all friends and make plans to join us!

Our BlueSky followers get the news first. We will be holding an extra event on Thanksgiving Day for the 5th consecutive year. parkrun on a Thursday. No medals, no sign up fees, no waste. Just come as you are and run or walk 5K with us.

11 volunteers helped out on the day including Shane who hit his first volunteer milestone by tail walking. Reminder that we’re off for the next 2 weeks to give way for other events in the park. We’ll be back with Joe Creason #298 on Sep 20.

We closed out August by welcoming 49 runners & walkers plus a few excellent barkrunners to Joe Creason on Saturday. We had several first-timers including Alex who ran our entire course in a suit after losing a fantasy football bet. He did great!
