The US is a murderous rogue state. Republicans lost their humanity, and their commitment to democracy. The world is paying the price for this weakness of American character.

Bato is already in jail, mentally, and just starting to pay the price for his role as Duterte's Chief Executioner. He'll be crying and whining for the rest of his life. Accountability can be merciless.

Frankly, it doesn't matter to me who you elect as President as long as that person is honest. That character trait will become government's character. It's why Aquino succeeded, not because he was a liberal or smart or worked hard.

I shake my head at Sara Duterte saying she's ready to be president. What a lack of class. If classless arrogance, corruption, incompetence, and giving the Philippines to China is what Filipino voters want, then she'll get elected. And the US will not be the only country that voted itself into hell.

Whenever I write of DDS I have to censor myself to take out all the swear words. Most people are for the Philippines, and sense, and honesty, and the values in the Constitution and Bible. Others love power and money and playing the uneducated for fools. DDS are miserable people.

FB is an invasive species that watches your every move, tracking you as if you were Jason Bourne. It is a force causing despair, depression, laughter, hissy fits, and extraction of money from your various accounts. I don't take it so seriously myself. It's like the Matrix but has way more cats.

What a difference a change of Ombudsman makes. From enabling crime to prosecuting crime. Man, Martires was awful. We can see that clearly now.

To me the Discayas are the thick-faced rot that keeps the Philippines behind the rest of the world as huge investments are rerouted from helping Filipinos to living high. And legislators who steal are not patriots.

I hope Vico Sotto does not follow the Leni model of humility over national leadership. He could get votes no one else can get. How can the Philippines get to good governance if its best people refuse to aggressively lead the nation to it?
