And look, Kimi was not great in those seasons. I get it. But he still had some good drives. He beat both Ferraris on the road at Mugello in 2020. Nobody remembers that, though. It's the 'for what' message that is all people care about thanks to F1. Pathetic.

At least Nando got DOTD in Singapore.

If he was at the back and slow, I'd get it to a degree. But he's still performing at a very good level. Not his 2000s or 2010s level. It is absolutely fine to stay on the grid though.

They did the same with Kimi in 2020 and 2021. Stop trying to turn your World Champions into memes. It's ridiculous.

Hopefully Alonso goes in on the TV coverage in the press conference later. It's becoming increasingly clear he's getting used for memes/radio content instead of his excellence behind the wheel.

He overtook 10 (!!!) cars in Singapore but the world feed focused on his plug out the radio message...

I didn't watch IndyCar at the time but Dan Wheldon's passing 14 years ago today was terrible. Marco Simoncelli a week later.

That Ocboter of 2011 was horrific. I'll never forget the shock I felt after both happened within 7 days of each other. Sheer disbelief.

Both sadly missed.

This is Colton. He started a fire at his house when he chewed through a lithium ion battery. He's not the first dog to do this, and he won't be the last, but unfortunately his dad is a firefighter, so it's probably going down as one of the most embarrassing instances. We're still giving him a 12/10

RINUS VEEKAY: Yeah, I've known Sting Ray for a while. He's a great guy. I've heard no bad stories about him. I've never raced with him in cars, I think, but no, he's a great guy. Yeah, I've always enjoyed seeing him around.

VeeKay is low-key an upgrade on Daly. But on the evidence of 2025, it'll be a complete reversal of where he was strong with DCR. Ovals will be good in '26 and he is very good on them himself, road and street courses could be very bruising.

I remember that alright. But for this I meant websites are using the term 'F1 insider' when it's a random French journalist I've never heard of. Should have worded my post better 😅 I didn't click any links because I am not totally thick but tried some Google searches to beat the clickbait. It worked
