International rugby is so good right now is the thing

Not seeing many people say this but Dafydd Jenkins had his best game in a Wales jersey yesterday. A very solid performance from the 22-year-old Exeter lock.

I still miss him 🥲

That was by far Australia’s best performance in the Autumn series.

Not quite good enough to beat France in Paris but a very encouraging performance despite the scoreline.

South Africa up next for Wales you say?

There’s actually lots to like about this Wales team. Can’t fault the spirit and character but poor discipline and defence have been reoccurring themes in this Autumn series and it’s really hurt them.

Shame because there’s genuine green shoots and reasons for optimism.

I’ve had a gutful of Taine Plumtree today and so have the officials. Absolute bobbins.

Stinking from Gareth Thomas. He’s better than that.

I thought Tom Rogers was poor against Argentina but scoring a hat-trick on your return to the team against the All Blacks is a pretty good response!

Defence and discipline have let us down but otherwise, we’ve been ok?

Dan Edwards is the future for Wales at 10. Fantastic composure at this level for a young player.

That was a belting rendition of Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau.

Best I’ve heard at the rugby for a while.

Will Jordan gonna cause a lot of problems today. Can feel it.

Things I’m looking forward to seeing from the game today: Joe Hawkins at 12, Harri Deaves debut at 7, Brodie Coghlan and Morgan Morse making their debuts off the bench.

Things I’m NOT looking forward to seeing: The game itself.

Even with the mass changes All Blacks have made, Wales will do well to keep them under 50 points. That’s just where we are now. Looking for positives and green shoots from the next two games as well as damage limitation. Hope Deaves, Coghlan and Morse go well.

This really does capture the feeling on every new bit of WRU news
November 19, 2025 at 1:45 PM
When you consider this and the fact that the WRU were briefing journalists at the game last week, this clearly isn’t a credible or professional governing body.

Good on the Dragons for calling it out because quite frankly someone needs to. WRU are going to kill pro rugby in Wales.

Daf Jenkins’ mates must have ripped the piss out of him, poor bloke. It’s the hope that kills you.

This may or not backfire but I’m glad someone is taking a stand against the Union because asking investors to put in 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 money for 𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 control of their business is absolutely bonkers. It’s not right and it’s not viable for any of the regions going forward.

Wales are shit and will no doubt get worse before it gets any better but at least when they had their ‘golden generation’ of players they had something to show for it.

Scotland on the other hand…
