I admit I'm struggling
Of course I'm only human
We can only take so much until we break
My religion and relationship with God is probably the only thing holding me together
I can only pray things can get better and this nihilism will eventually leave me

Notice people who say “socialism never worked” never have a basis for saying this:

no comparison of what the conditions were before (usually feudalism/fascism)

no analysis of why it fell (US coups and bombs)

what happened afterwards (homeless, prostitution, inequality).

The criticisms of socialism are always cherry picked and and selective, no matter how well socialism does it's bad and tyrannical, if it doesn't have free markets and little to no worker democracy or protections it's not worth their time

Bolivia had improved healthcare and lowering poverty, and the removal of racism and discrimination
Chile had better wages and more jobs under Allende
the libertarian say they are tyrannical cause they don't respect property rights, well what about people rights?
