A comment from a reader over a photo of Turmeric Chicken and Crispy Rice reads: "Insanely, tearjerkingly good."
I don’t mind eating
breakfast alone. It’s better
than no food at all.

PARIS REVIEW MONOSTICH

A shoe full of water left on a porch.

#monostich
It rains on fools and
the intelligent and on
the traveling night.

Halloween is around the corner
and I am tempted to post some real horror stories. Hint: It has to do with mistaken identities.
The wind and the leaves
dance together confirming
the weatherman’s spell.

CLARIFICATION

In the midst of the crowd
there are friendly ghosts.

Some make contact
others just smile.

I endeavor
until reality changes.

Then I move on
to find more of the same.

I greet,
I take photographs.

I try my best
to be happy.

At night the report says
two students died.

It is so sad when students die.

SUNDAY THOUGHTS

I believe in God in spite of religion, not because of it.

Long commutes are fun if you don’t have to drive and you take pictures a long the way.

BEAUTY & UGLINESS

I love talking
to my atheist friends
because it amuses me
when they
show to be
moralists
surpassing religious
people.

Randos
with the faces
of quadrupeds
drive by.

Angry
old women
walk by.

Smiling
pretty women
walk by.

I remember
last night’s dream
and my dream
was about love.
