Apparently the State Department, led Secretary of State Marco Rubio, the nation's top diplomat, released a strategic plan. Goal 1 is U.S. National Sovereignty. Goal 2 is "The Western Hemisphere and Establishment of the Donroe Doctrine."

I just came back to DC from Rio. @nti.org and NPSGlobal organized a fantastic 1.5 track workshop on Latin America’s role in nuclear security and disarmament. I had a great time learning about regional approaches and plans to deal with an uncertain nuclear future.
