Supper tonight - Naan with Spiced Turkey and Yogurt Sauce with Çoban Salatasi-Style Salad.

Superior. Leftover roasted Turkey shredded and fried with spices on a Naan flatbread with a Yogurt Garlic Lemon Sauce. Wow!

And the Çoban Salatasi or Shepherd’s Salad.

Supper tonight - Damn Fine Meatloaf with Spicy Onion Glaze (but I used it as a sauce spread) with Warm Potato and Leek Salad with Smoky Bacon and Preserved Lemon.

We met in 1989—big hair, shoulder pads, the works. Andy was 28, I was 38. Fast forward: We made it legal on 2/14/15 because nothing says love like a corporate holiday. I was 63, Andy 53. Today, I’m 73, he’s 63, and let’s be real—we’re old as hell. Oh yeah… Happy Valentine’s Day.
