sometimes I wonder what digital interfaces would look like if they degraded from usage, like physical interfaces do.

for example: imagine how many millions of times the Home button in this app is tapped every single day. It would look like this:

Played the first round of the year today. Game is rusty, but it’s great to be out on the course. ⛳️

Actually I see it the opposite. Coach still has decision in end, counsel would defer to someone because 1) counselor is trying to help someone be a better decision maker or 2) is a SME who is advising on domain specific. I actually had “mentor” instead of “counselor” in an earlier version.

bottom row is somewhat passive… not making many decisions either because they don’t have the experience yet or are intentionally guiding someone but letting them make the decision to get better at decision-making. Love “investigate” for former. Fits for latter too? What do u think?

It is. In fact, I’ve used “mentoring” as well, but like “counseling” because it can mean adding domain expertise as well as mentoring people. Perhaps only semantics but seems to make sense in my head.

Interesting! I sort of like “supporter” more than what I use. Same premise but maybe a better descriptor.

Btw, I’m being intentionally vague in my request as to get broad thoughts, if anyone is willing to share.

I’d love the community’s thoughts on this. I use it to help folks understand where they sit today in terms of two important PM skills/behaviors… influence and judgment. The goal is to be capable in all areas.
??- I feel it’s good but missing “something”. Any thoughts?

I do an immersion program for Johns Hopkins in Portugal each January. Spend most time in Coimbra but also some time in Lisbon and Porto. If you ever get a chance once you’re settled, spend a weekend at Cerdeira Home for Creativity. Amazing place that will make you forget the world for a while.

Guess I’ll dust off this platform too. Hi folks!

I have yet to see it, but, now after all the reviews (of people I trust), I may have to do it.

Do your cats leave the back? Mine are indoor only but I’d love to give them a little, safe taste of outdoors.
