Dairy IS a slaughter industry, & is in fact crueler than animals who are raised solely for their flesh. Males produced are waste product #veal, females repeatedly have their babies taken away every year, & are slaughtered when they can take no more #downers

Black and white cows like this are Holsteins, they are raised to produce milk, not beef. Also beef comes almost exclusively from “steers,” i.e. males which have been castrated (not unlike, say, GOP congressmen)

Federal labor unions notched another win against Trump’s attacks, securing a temporary injunction against his mass firings of federal workers.

Unions have always been on the front lines in the fight against authoritarianism. Kudos to these unions for carrying on this legacy today.
