Wow. My favorite part of traveling to larger cities outside of the US is finding upscale plant based restaurants (thanks Happy Cow app!). Had this fantastic lunch @PlantaQueen in Toronto today! Nearly everything on the menu is gluten free! I will be back!

We tried the juicy marbles vegan ribs tonight. OMG. I don’t know how they did it, but it looks and tastes just like juicy pork ribs! We made a bourbon maple glaze and served with an “eggy” potato salad and corn. Delicious summer meal!
Protein packed! Glazed tofu with quinoa, edamame, and roasted pumpkin seeds. I used honey to glaze it, but you could use another similar sweetener to make it 100% vegan (eg agave, honee, maple syrup). #veganfood #glutenfree

The nori is the key to making it taste like fish. Sometimes I will just use dukes flakes or similar in the breading, as that also gives it a fishy taste. Fish taste “fishy” because of what they eat, which is seaweed/algae. So why not use that ourselves? :)
There are a few recipes that have different ways of doing it. This one was from the magazine formerly known as Plant Based:
Yeah- the recipe was a scary one to try but I was curious about the flavor combo. I added a lot more lemon zest than the recipe called for to help bolster the lemon flavor. The chili seasoning was more with chili flakes than a heavy chili sauce, so with the olive oil it worked.
