The socioeconmic advantages of students from professional families negatively influences them from careers in primary care or working in underserved communities. Cutting loans will worsen the problem.

If we are not IN communities and offering a wide range of care so that continuity and a relationship can be foster, it isn't primary care. As Bill Phillips MD said: "You can pretend to know, you can pretend to care, but you cannot pretend to be there"

Spread the number of primary care ACO's and cancel hospital based ones. Hospital and health center programs are built to keep spending high.
For seven years in a row, #PrimaryCare led ACOs in MSSP have generated nearly DOUBLE the amount of savings of their peers. If we want to fix our health care system, it starts with strengthening and empowering primary care.
According to CMS, primary care centric ACOs once again outperformed their peers participating in MSSP in 2024. It's yet another piece of evidence that when primary care leads, savings and better outcomes follow.

In the last few weeks, the little known agency called the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force (USPSTF) has made the news. The HHS has discussed removing all of the USPSTF members, similar to what was done to the ACIP. Just what is the USPSTF & why is it so important to protect health? 👇
What is the USPSTF and why does it matter?
The USPSTF is an independent advisory panel of experts who make evidence-based recommendations about clinical preventive services.
