"I'd like to lay under the stars with you, i think little Jinsol would like to sleep outside too," Jinsol was happy to see Rauk smiling. He took Rauk's hand when they stepped outside and stood close. "My night vision is poor but if we're touching I can enjoy the view through your eyes."

Jinsol laughed and kissed his bird on the mouth. "I know, Jinsol, but compared to some of the other animals and humanoids, you are small. It's ok, if you were any bigger you wouldn't fit comfortably in Rauk's ship and we couldn't take you anywhere."

"That's a good idea, come here Jinsol," Jinsol stood and clipped a little comm to his bird's jesses. It was lightweight so it wouldn't affect his flying and was flush to his jesses so that it wouldn't flop around.

"Jinsol, wait a minute," Jinsol smiled back at Rauk, admiring how handsome his husband looked even if he couldn't see him clearly.

"I need to arrange a date for my surgery, I think I want to try removing the cataracts again. I don't know if I could take the adjustment issues that come with prosthetics. Just.. whenever Rauk is available."

"Thanks, Little Jinsol. I do not think I would be able to sleep soundly without your supervision. After all my night vision is worse than my day, if that's even possible," Jinsol smiled at his bird and then looked at Rauk. His cataracts were always pretty bad, but they were getting worse. +

"Yes, we definitely want to join you. Well, I do. I know Little Jinsol will want to fly around more since he can fly," Jinsol looked at his bird who bobbed his head. The two Jinsols then kissed each other on the mouth, very normal Romulan to neiirrh communication. "What else do you wanna do?"

"The glider is made for me, so I do not think Rauk would even be able to use it," Jinsol said, referring to their differing heights. "We can fly over you on the desert instead," He offered.

Jinsols followed Rauk inside. Jinsol tr'Rihan took a seat beside Rauk and Jinsol tr'Neiirrh perched on the perch that Rauk had so nicely installed for him.

"It'll be nice to be on a planet. I think some natural air will help me. I still feel like I should be a neiirrh...

Jinsols were dressed for a camping trip or something, even Little Jinsol who had a lil hat on.

@romulanheart.bsky.social we're ready to go, Little Jinsol insisted on dressing up a little. He likes the costumes sometimes.

Oh yes, i had it replicated for him. He liked it, he said it made him feel like a Romulan. He's ok with a uniform but not his jesses? I don't know how to explain to him that he needs his jesses so people can help him if he's lost
