This is my new take: anyone who has tried to understand Kingdom Hearts is misunderstanding Kingdom Hearts. It refuses interpretation and revels in batshittery because it needs you to get lost so you feel as lost as the central world-hopping twink

Kingdom Hearts is so much better when you realize that the big confusing epic tale isn't SUPPOSED to be understood. They put you in the clown shoes of the dumbest motherfucker this side of Traverse Town who has no idea what's going on, it's actually made confusing to be extra immersive

Nah but fr like the biggest real reason is I have auditory processing issues allll the time, so sitting and being talked at means I'll retain 0% of what's said. Same reason I wish I could do audiobooks but I know for a fact it ain't gonna happen lmao
