Agree, except for modern agriculture. Acres of monoculture means fewer family farms, death for rural communities, eroded and lifeless topsoil, dependence on petrochemicals and soil packing heavy equipment, less biodiversity, and threatened pollinators, killed by pesticides such as neonicotinoids
