I’m striking out on #birdoftheday today. I visited London for a short week in April but didn’t manage to get any shots of a #BlueTit. All my tits were great.

Rob and Alan’s #Birdoftheday is #Gannet which I’ve not yet seen as we have none on the west coast of North America. But we do have Tufted Puffins, so I’m hoping a substitution will be allowed in this case.

K and I twitched on a Hooded Warbler in Lane County, Oregon today and were rewarded with this excellent photograph. It's my 382nd life-list bird for Oregon and 331st for 2025, so no photography awards, but it's a tic! #birding
