Ok I’m back on Bluesky.

Threads was fun until it wasn’t.

Dang I might be aging out of social media.

I don’t know whether it is a gift or a curse that we are now privy to the misery of everyone around us & far from us 24/7. It used to be random mid-life crises that came out of nowhere. Now we watch it happen slowly and call it “crashing out”. It also seems to come in waves over time.

In the holiday spirit now

After attempting to take pics of the beauty of the moon numerous, I came to understand why I sometimes don’t like myself in pics vs what I see in the mirror. Which I could trust? My eyes (that need glasses) or the camera? But when I saw my pics of the moon I realized, my eyes are far better.

Reflecting on a crazy year and I’m reminded that in the chaos there is also always peace.

Nothing beats a cup of cappuccino in the middle of the Swiss Alps. Peace.

My husband cooked this tonight. Perfect vibes.

I am so thankful for my husband. He is truly a steady drumbeat of consistency when I am freaking out, which is literally always. Whew. I often feel like I don’t deserve him but I’m thankful God thinks otherwise.

I’m planning a dream retreat for my friends next spring. If this is a hit I’m going to expand this. Finding sponsors is light work.

We need space to sleep and dream and I have the perfect place.
