Description: The promulgation of Vatican II's Declaration on the Relation of the Church to Non-Christian Religions (Nostra Aetate) sixty years ago inaugurated a new era of Jewish-Catholic relations. This lecture commemorates this milestone, highlights the unseen work that helped to bring it about, and explores how to address the ongoing challenges to the process of dialogue and solidarity.

#Peace is unarmed and disarming. It is not deterrence, but fraternity; it is not an ultimatum, but dialogue. Peace will not come as the result of victories over the enemy, but as the fruit of sowing justice and courageous forgiveness.
