TRUMP: It's really meant to help a good financial philosophy where Argentina can be successful again

If you can’t sell your soybeans because of Trump’s tariffs after Argentina stepped in and took your customers, you can take solace that the guy you voted for also just gave $20 billion of your tax dollars to the country that is bankrupting you.

Naturally, the only prominent Republican to address the vile comments from the Young Republicans while refusing to condemn them was JD Vance.

But that’s only because Ron Desantis hasn’t weighed in yet.

Let me be clear: It’s ILLEGAL to deny federal workers back pay after a shutdown.

There’s a 2019 law that guarantees it, but Trump is once again trying to break the law.

You don’t get to punish people for doing their jobs just because you’re failing at yours.

There is no conceivable argument that these ships, even if we assume they were carrying narcotics, could not be dealt with in some other way. I think we can just drop the caveats and say: This is mass murder.
chrislhayes.bsky.social
Unless and until some kind of compelling legal and moral argument is presented as to why this is a legitimate use of deadly force, this is just…mass murder.

Absolute fucking abomination.

The Washington Post and other major news outlets have refused to sign the Defense Department’s restrictive new media policy, citing First Amendment concerns.

There have been brave & courageous war correspondents & reporters throughout history who have uncovered fraud, corruption, abuses and worse inside DOD and the military industrial complex over decades.

Then you have useless hacks that would sign on to Hegseth’s censorship rules.

It is a disgrace that Fox continues to put them on constantly day after day to spew their propaganda to their friends when Hegseth & Wilson are afraid to face real press and are obviously in the process of covering a lot up that they don’t want the American people to know.

Which Republican genius came up with the talking point to label millions of ordinary Americans peacefully protesting their government as paid Marxists who hate America?

That’s really what you are going with?

That we hate the United States of America?

Fuck you.

Judge Nachmanoff has adopted Jim Comey's preferred protective order over the one the loaner AUSAs proposed (which would have required Comey have babysitters to access his own discovery).

He also included this footnote.

1 The Court observes that protective orders entered in numerous other high-profile false statements cases, within and
outside of this judicial district, do not contain such limitations. See, e.g., Protective Order, United States v. McDonnell,
et al., ECF 46, No. 3:14-cr-12-JRS (E.D. Va. Feb. 6, 2014); Protective Order, United States v. Kiriakou, ECF 32, No.

A federal judge said "DHS, you cannot legally put this language into a grant." So what DHS did is... keep putting that language in grants — but with a new disclaimer saying it would only apply if the court order was struck down.

The judge was NOT happy.
