Looks like I’m going back to Vault 111.
SO... I'm pretty much done with Fortnite. There were statements made by Tim Sweeney saying that AI usage doesn't need to be disclosed, and then AI usage was found all over this current season- from art to sprays to in-game songs. Between that, and the upcoming shitty wizard collab... Yeah, I'm done.

Surprised that no one wants to use the dogshit plagiarism machine that is burning the world down and is constantly wrong and looks like shit and makes everything dumber.
Three years into the generative-AI wave, demand for the technology seems surprisingly flimsy
Investors expect AI use to soar. That’s not happening
Recent surveys point to flatlining business adoption

@mark-carney.bsky.social I apologize for all the times I privately thought you were smart.
its absolutely unfucking believable to sign an MOU about what will be done in another province without even inviting the province to the table

Carney’s move here is just so dumb. He’s hitching his wagon to the most despicable and despised premier in the country, alienating most of his allies, just to sell the idea of a pipeline no one wants, that will NEVER get built. Masterful gambit sir

Mark Carney and Danielle Smith’s MOU is an abuse of power and a spit in the face to British Columbians. They will never ram a pipeline through BC without the consent of Coastal First Nations and Northern Communities, and we’ll make fucking sure of it. #bcpoli

Saw the VFD fundraising outside of the Canada Line and I gotta say it sucks that firefighters have to stand outside begging for money while Vancouver Police get a 50 million raise to their already insane budget. @cityofvancouver.bsky.social is blowing it so bad.

If your feed has seemed off these days, it’s because Bsky pulled a Meta and turned a bunch of their moderation settings to “Hide” by default. The “Rude” setting especially should be turned to “Show” as they label it on anything they find as such, and are pretty bad judges.

Drastic cuts across the board except for Cops who get a huge increase. At least he is being straightforward about who he represents. Can’t wait to vote this guy out.

If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.

As many have pointed out, Mamdani didn't stand apart from our trans brothers and sisters. He didn't play the "Gee, gosh, it sure is complicated," milquetoast moderate card. And he crushed.

It was fairly common during the aughts to rightfully assume that Dick Cheney was the worst person in the world, in terms of harm. His death reaction seems like an afterthought. Is that a sign of how bad things are now or do we collectively care less?
Let us remember who Dick
Cheney really was.
