I'm not often staggered by tech. My son's smart telescope Xmas present (standard 11yo space phase), we got these last night 🀯. 5hrs of images stacked as the telescope πŸ” tracks the image. The star ✨ removal tool is amazing. We are two happy boys, the phase doesn't end at 11 🀣

New skill unlocked! Gone are the days of wiring my prototypes like a noob πŸ˜‚.
PCBs forever now, even though it takes 20 days and A LOT of connections, it's totally worth it! Wouldn't have tried if I hadn't seen it done over and over by @kevsmac.bsky.social Thanks for the inspiration Kevin!

A shame the "cheap" deliver takes so long

My very first PCB is on its way via the slow boat from China. I hope it works 😬

Should all lithium-ion battery powered devices be rechargeable by law. My wife was about to buy a new Tile tracker for her wallet (that's used daily 🀣) and throw this one away. I jumped up and said, "where's my toolkit?" We will be back to 100% in 30min. #recycle #reuse #eWaste

Which makes sense as we say a few smaller lights in a line in front of it which must have been the satellites

Ooooh, Iike that, learning a lot tonight! Thanks for the suggestion.

Current arm chair enthusiasts are leaning towards a SpaceX launch as no comets are due.

What was this in the sky tonight? A comet? It took minutes to go across the nights sky...

I can make an instructables and give all the files and code with a walk through. The kit is a good idea. I'm getting a new laser cutter that could speed up the process.

Apologies. For yours & others benefit, 1st image is a young disabled boy happy with a new accessible switch. Next a the 3 button device that has coloured lights & is laser cut. The next shows the raspberry pi inside that makes it all work and the last is example python code that I used AI to create.

My son's #disability means he struggles to press the spacebar twice quickly enought to fly in #Minecraft. No problem, made a Β£10 MacroPad with the @raspberrypi.com Pico. Fully designed with @lightburn.bsky.social He's back in the game! #accessibility #accessibletech #rpi #pico #lasercut

Moved to @elegoo.bsky.social ABS Like Resin 3.0 from 2.0. Having problems now. Def settings as everything else is the same. Here's a testing print. Struggling with the fine detail & the tear is new. Sometimes sticking to FEP. Any ideas #3Dprinting peeps? Using Elegoo settings.

As the world enjoys significant #ChatGPT image generation improvement, it turns out millions of social media users private photos have been stolen to train them. YOU could be in AI photos! Check the link to search if yours has been used!!! I found mine!!! news.rr.nihalnavath.com/posts/Images...

Salvaging a decade+ old Hexapod. Was old #Python code now updated to Python3. Gutted the original hardware, now @raspberrypi.com Zero & @adafruit-playground.com servo hats. A few gammy legs due to worn cogs & rechargeable Lipo batteries installed. That how you unwind at the weekend isn't it? πŸ‘€πŸ€“

Seen it, used it, liked it. TinyLlama still seems to work better for me.

Nope. "Just" the 16GB Pi5. Slow but functional on TinyLlama1.1B

On #PiDay I'm reminded that I've tinkered with @raspberrypi.com's for over a decade. I've owned every model. My current #Pi5 is running #AI & more importantly there's always Pi running #RetroPie somewhere in the house! For the kids of course... πŸ‘€ youtu.be/WWsBmioSMcQ?...

Expect a flood 🌊 of #sora videos πŸ“½οΈ in the UK πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§. Impressive but is it really useful? What's the ROI? Generic unpersonalised #Marketing content? I'm talking about this on Tuesday (Full) & the 25th March (Running out) at Digital Jersey Academy, book now lnkd.in/ejvS7F28

The @Digital.je school #BattleBot army is growing, ready for coding on Wednesday. Will do an #instructables build & share the lasercutting + 3Dprint models. Fair bit of multi discipline effort this one. @microbit.org #dfrobot @lightburnsoftware.bsky.social @elegoo.bsky.social @autocad.bsky.social
