A little football history...On December 3rd 1950, on a muddy day in Cleveland, the Browns beat the Philadelphia Eagles 13-7 without throwing one pass and didn't have that many offensive yards... Their one touchdown came from a 30 yard interception for a touchdown and two Lou Groza field goals...

Bob Waterfield was Quarterback for the Cleveland Rams in the NFL, but he also was the punter and the field goal kicker. In his first four years, he also played defense. All of this while married to Jane Russell.

12/7/14 the Unionville Old Tavern looked like "hillbilly heaven".Motor oil jugs were holding the tarps on the roof.In 11 years a young group of dedicated people have brought the Tavern back.How it started. I still consider Unionville "my little town" after spending almost 40 years in business there
