It's been good to see coverage of the abysmal Winnipeg bus system. At the same time I find it odd that folks refer to the city's "public transit." Winnipeg does not have public transit. It has a semi-regular autobus service that mostly uses the same infrastructure as other autos.

What's clear is that no one will be "welcomed" at the United States-hosted portion of the World Cup. Canada and Mexico, meanwhile, have a chance to deliver completely different experiences.
