Day 3 of @thisiskinou and my @thebandcicada music tour to Terschelling during @oerolterschelling . Back again to @zeelenfiets to hire a tandem and ride via a tasty lunch in Midsland at @debakker_terschelling all the way to the other end of the island at @heartbreakhotelts for some live music.
Circular thinking.

We all do this, but it’s important to realize that we don’t have to be ruled by it. I’ve found a lot of pleasure in getting to a place where I release myself from the burden of worry. It’s made me more creative and more productive. And it all starts with being aware of this
Fab! Just sent an email through. My band is just musicians who play with me under ‘Jeremy Johnson’ so they are like session musicians I suppose!
Thanks Roger! A pleasure playing for you! Hope you had a great day and enjoyed the show. All the best! “Bloke on stage” 😄
Welcome to my office. De Bieb is where I do a bunch of work for my music and I think it’s an awesome example of tasteful town planning. Always a pleasure working from here.

It’s a great tough old climate out there for touring musicians, but the band and I are not deterred!

Just like our gig at Croyde Bay Village Hall last Autumn where we debuted my latest release ‘Devil’s Lettuce’ - we hired, people came, fun was had by all!

Tickets are now on sale for our 2025 tour

Just got back from Turkey where I finally got my teeth done. I’m so happy with the results and while I have experienced side effects, the doctor assured me that ‘my face is just a bit like that’

Looking forward to all the ladies phone numbers!
1. Radiohead - In Rainbows

To this day, I listen to In Rainbows and still can’t understand how anyone wrote it. A perfect, complex, deep and soul bending production. A north star to aspire to. The impossible standard to shoot for
5/5
2. Damien Rice - O

This album made me fall in love with the guitar and writing songs. I couldn’t understand how so much connection could exist in music until my first year of university with Damien Rice on repeat. I’m not sure I’d be a musician today without O
4/5 ⬇️
3. Daft punk - Random Access Memories

Proving to me that electronic music can have just as much soul as a strummed guitar. RAM will always be the reason any electro influence manages to sneak itself into my tunes
3/5 ⬇️
4. Ben Howard - I Forget Where We Were

For most of my 20s I wished I was you. Learnt all your songs, wrote my own music in open tunings and refused to get my hair cut. It took me a while to realise I would never be Ben Howard, but his influence will always be part my journey as a musician

MY MOST INFLUENTIAL ALBUMS

5. The Spice Girls - Spice

I loved the album and it held pride of place in my bedroom… That is until one fateful elder-brother house party where someone found myroom and left my SPICE CD smashed up on my bed… An introduction to toxic masculine bullying

A little ‘Sunny Above The Clouds’ on a cloudless afternoon in the Anti-Atlas of Morocco. Filmed in January during our little van trip

What a spot!
This is exactly how it happened… I promise
