What is with all the appointment reminders? Multiple texts and emails in the days before an appt! It is so annoying!! From the dentist, doctor, nails, hair, massage - it’s too much!! Gen X doesn’t need this bombardment. Tell us once, remind us once and know we will be there. C’mon!!

Good news for GenX. The divorce rate is ⬇️ to 27%. We grew up with a rate of 50% & the idea that most marriages end badly. Our parents married young, but many of us waited until after college. We learned from their mistakes. Go GenX!!

I just realized that I am my dog’s emotional support human! I am always with him, hold him during storms, I’m at the other end of the leash when we walk (and we go where he wants to and then I pick up after him), I get things for him, feed him and generally take care of him.

I figured out how to deal with the wrinkles that are always visible on my forehead. I didn’t get Botox or some other poisonous, toxic shit shot into my face. I got bangs!! Simple, natural and I look 15 years younger! Easy, breezy bangs! So what if my 17yo niece says I’m out of style. Get bangs!!
