the problem is that trans women and advocates do not, at this time, have a good counter argument or common objection to these instances. we're treading too carefully around cis perceptions of us.
when phallocentrism is displayed, it must be called out every single time

phallocentrism as used against trans women also shows up in porn of us, lingerie made for us, the cis public's obsession with the mechanics of t4t sex, tucking, MTF SRS, and countless media examples of transfemme characters being outed via a humiliating scene of penis revelation.

another good thing to remember is that no one can give or take you woman or manhood. its already yours, as much and as little as you want of each.
so misgendering, although it is annoying, painful, stupid, ridiculous, and stinky horseshit, it truly amounts to nothing.

gendering happens as quick secondary sex characteristic observations that are usually unconscious to the person doing the gendering.
therefore, a far more healthy goal for transitioning is to become a baddie. love the face in the mirror, regardless if they "pass"

thats why we say the goal shouldnt be to "pass". its a ridiculous goal.
