Autumn in #NewEngland, means #soup season! #Vegetarian Avgolemono Soup (Lemon, Egg, Orzo) one of our favorites! This batch has faux-chicken chunks. And for the first time in ages it did not curdle, yay! Also made some homemade Applesauce with maple sugar. The house smells amazing.

Feel like I accomplished something today, peeled and froze a pound of Zemo Garlic we purchased at the North Quabin Garlic Festival a few weeks ago. Used the soaking method, it worked really well. I have another pound of Russian Red Garlic to peel, but not today. My fingers reek. #food 🍜

Orecchiette pasta, and steamed broccoli, tossed with a sauté of garlic (lots!), in good EVOO, butter, salt and pepper, red pepper flakes. Topped with shredded Italian cheeses. Simple. Perfection.
