I wish Americans understood that the Heritage (Proj 2025) culture disapproves of secular education generally and non-Christian higher ed in particular. It's a culture I am intimately familiar with and confident that the goal is to turn every research and land-grant school into a copy of Liberty U.
At many (most?) universities, international students pay full freight (often allowing the school to offer financial aid and scholarships to U.S. students). Terrorizing them will no doubt decrease int’l enrollment, hitting higher ed’s bottom line. Which is the point.
