Trump's plan to dismantle the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder is a disgrace. This action could weaken extreme-weather forecasting & preparedness, undercut U.S. leadership in atmospheric science, & put hundreds of CO jobs & a major engine of research collaboration at risk.
Trump moves to dismantle major US climate research center in Colorado
The Trump administration is breaking up the National Center for Atmospheric Research, taking aim at one of the world's leading climate research labs.

Trump has no constitutional authority to pardon Tina Peters. Peters was convicted of state crimes in a state court, by a jury of her peers. His unlawful pardon will not go anywhere.

Our democracy starts at the local level with caucus.

In March 2026, Democrats across the state will gather to choose delegates and decide who earns a place on the ballot. It’s not just a meeting on the calendar – it is a powerful way for neighbors to shape the future of our state.

Donald Trump has pardoned insurrectionists and promoted election deniers to positions of power, and he will do anything to try and outrun his disastrous polling numbers.

The American people know better, and can defeat him in 2026.

BREAKING: Trump’s DOJ is suing me.

This lawsuit is in response to my refusal to hand over sensitive Colorado voter information, including voters’ driver's license numbers and the last four of their social security numbers.

Tina Peters was convicted by a jury of her peers for state crimes in a state court. Trump has no constitutional authority to pardon her. His assault is not just on our democracy, but on states’ rights and the American constitution.

What an incredible time on the campaign trail!

Last week: stood with @seiu105.bsky.social on the picket line, cut the ribbon at the new Stanley Chocolate Factory in Estes Park, celebrated incredible volunteers with @bocodems.bsky.social, joined HD4 @denverdemocrats.org, and much more!

This week, I made it clear: Trump can take a hike. Trump's DOJ asked my Office for CO voter’s driver’s license number or the last four digits of their social security number. We will not comply with this request for Coloradans’ sensitive voting information. (1)

A federal court recently ruled ICE’s pattern of warrantless arrest in CO unlawful - a huge win for immigrant families, civil rights, and the rule of law. As Attorney General, I’ll fight to hold every powerful actor accountable when they break the law.

Federal judge orders ICE agents in Colorado to follow law, stop ‘pattern’ of illegal arrests
The 66-page decision came three weeks after four immigrants testified that ICE agents had arrested them without warrants and without first checking to see whether they were likely to flee.

Breaking: EMILYs List has endorsed our campaign for attorney general!

As Colorado’s Secretary of State, protecting the right to vote is one of my most important responsibilities.

I joined nine other secretaries of state in demanding answers from the Trump administration about why they quietly shared massive amounts of voter data with Homeland Security.

Tina Peters tried to undermine Colorado’s elections. A jury convicted her, and she is serving a prison sentence because no one is above the law in our state.

Now the Trump administration is pressuring Colorado to transfer her to federal custody, potentially to help her walk free.

Colorado has made progress on gun laws to keep communities safe. But there’s still more work to do — including passing an assault weapons ban. When I’m elected Attorney General, I’ll work with our legislature to get it done.

Congress shielded gun companies from lawsuits. Some blue states like Colorado think they've found a loophole.
Since 2021, 10 states have passed laws intended to make it easier to sue gunmakers and sellers
