In all seriousness, he's been good this year. The shotmaking has been good. He will probably never be super consistent, but he could be a key piece going forward if the jumpers keep falling and the defense remains disruptive
Congratulations, Devin Vassell! You've earned a week without me including you in some fake trade that would never happen.

Huge Julian Champagnie game so far. He's starting to become a well-rounded guy instead of just a 3-and-D player. The next step is to stop stepping out of bounds on corner threes...

Sochan at center is not working. The dribble hand-offs are going nowhere. The big drops, the wings are not pulling up. Sochan's at his best when he's moving a lot. Need to switch things up. Either play Olynyk or have the guards screen.

The Spurs have gone 10 deep in the first quarter. Mitch Johnson is in experimentation mode again. Interesting.

Someone is going to overpay for contract year, weirdly clutch Vooch at the deadline. But the funniest outcome by far would be the Bulls once again refusing to trade him and then re-signing him

I still think San Antonio did the right thing by trading the 8th pick of the 2024 draft, and it got them Fox. But Buzelis would be PERFECT on the Spurs

The Warriors had 21 threes (14 for SA) and 30 free throw attempts (12 for SA). Fox was a disaster. The two-center lineup was out there for too long. And it was still a close game. Frustrating loss for the Spurs but nothing to panic about

Jamal Crawford is a star as a broadcaster. Informative and entertaining.

The three is key for Wemby. He's much better inside the arc this year, but becomes unguardable if the outside shot is falling. Plus, it means fewer drives into traffic on his perimeter touches, which means fewer turnovers

The Spurs look disjointed, which is not surprising since they have gone 12 deep in the first half and some guys are playing their first game together. Mitch Johnson is experimenting early in the season.

One of my favorite Wemby things is when he blocks a shot no one is supposed to get to and the opponent is confused about it and calls for a goaltend for a second before going "oh, right" and running back on defense

Mo Gueye is going to be this year's Toumani Camara

One of the best rebounding games of Wembanyama's career. He's not only pulling down boards but also diligently boxing out Kevon Looney, who is an elite offensive rebounder

In past games, the defense was the main reason why Wemby struggled on offense. He's just playing poorly against the Pelicans so far.

T.J. Ford is a team player, so he's wearing the hat. But you can see the sadness in his eyes

The Spurs announced their training camp roster, with no big surprises

Some great context on why Wemby is shooting so many threes from @jejegomez.bsky.social

The best thing Victor Wembanyama did in Portland was not hit clutch free throws to secure the win for the Spurs. It was giving this kid his jersey after the game. That's what pure joy looks like
