Today's game is 15mm Chain of Command US v German patrol scenario.
Halfway through the game, new rules arrive and now I'm distracted (in a good way) 👍
Didn't buy a thing at Newark, but walked around in awe looking at some of the games on display.
Great to meet up with some old Lardy friends and chat the day away.
Great weekend just gone, with Arsehammer on Saturday, and The other Partizan on Sunday.
I don't really have much interest in Warhammer tbh, but meeting up with old friends for beer and curry i could do every weekend 👍
No but my Dad did own a bike 😁
Aww cheers Per 🍻
Thanks Iain ☺️
Painted some 6mm Baccus French Napoleonic Foot Artillery.
3 guns and limbers, the guns are detached into their own base when unlimbered, and a 'blank' fills the space on the limber base.
I'm probably going to add caissons or battery guard to these blanks in the future.
Thank you, thats true, but it's nice to paint something different now and again 😄
I had one-off these dead horses with a cart painted up for my snowy table, so it's thought id do one for my med table as well.
Comes in handy as a deployment/jump off point or just as some table dressing.
Brrrt brrrt! A nice support option for my Sicily/Italian DAK platoon, in the shape of an MG34 MMG with 5 crew.
Now with CoC2 it comes with it's own hard cover, so i knocked up a quick sandbag entrenchment for it to hide behind.

Thanks Pat ☺️
I hope so, he does love his wargames 👍
28mm Napoleonic game with the grandson today, his French are trying to dislodge my Allied forces from their position on the ridge line.
I'd show him but he's ex infantry, and i simply don't have the time to run a course 🙄
I always remember my father's last words "Fuck me, a bus"
Great stuff Nick 👏
I see what you did there 😉
Thanks Joe, boards by me and buildings by @geofftbond.bsky.social
Had great fun running our Chain of Command Sicily game at Clotted Lard in Exeter this weekend, I was also lucky enough to play in Phil and @jennyturner1971.bsky.social 's edge of Arnhem game using IABSM.

Thanks Pat, it's still a work in progress, but we're getting there 💪
With the release of CoC2, Geoff and I had decided to take a straightforward 'Attack on an Objective' scenario around some of the Lard days.
The idea being, to introduce some new aspects of the rules to show the difference between the two versions, and show how they influence gameplay.
Great rehearsal today for next week's game of CoC at Clotted Lard in Exeter.
@geofftbond.bsky.social has made some lovely buildings to sit atop my terrain boards, Brits v Germans in Sicily.
