College radio has always had a cool, hip factor. It’s a culture built on passion and discovery that benefits both students and listeners. Long live the stations running on duct tape, borrowed records, and a pure obsession that's defiantly alive.

44 years ago today…the first of two sold-out shows with the Rolling Stones and special guest Etta James at the Richfield Coliseum. Northeast Ohio was the 17th stop on the 1981 American tour in support of their new album at the time, Tattoo You.

The concert came close to being cancelled the day of the show, because the tarps used to protect the gym floor were deemed a fire hazard.
