True, though the main issue might be more of a situation where people don't want to see anything related to the sequel trilogy or Disney is more convinced to just stick with the Prequel Trilogy to 5 years post Empire eras. As a result of how some stuff not tackling those eras just didn't do well.

But in all honesty, I think this is more of a case of them just not wanting to do anything related to the sequel trilogy just yet. Which kind of unfortunate cause we are going be stuck in the post clone wars and a bit of the post empire era for a while.

Ok, though granted kind of difficult to justify a resurrection when the body just goes poof. Like the only way you could justify it was if there is a clone of Ben running around and his soul got into it somehow or just add something else to cosmic or living force.
