No school is better, especially with picks like these. 🙌🏻

Yep, I was way too young when I saw that movie. Which was actually great, because it plays into classic childhood fears so well.
jcdenden.bsky.social
Now I need to see Moulin Rouge again for the umpteenth time. 😁🤘🏻

When I saw Ray Wise in Twin Peaks, I recognised him from a videogame from the year 2000. He played a delightfully cheesy President of the US in Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2. Good actor.

#DendensMusicDen. Day 121. My wife was off to a concert again when I put this on, so this was a no-brainer. P!nk - Greatest Hits... So Far! starts out very early 2000s for better or worse, and then it quickly becomes great as she seized creative control and evolved to great heights. #MusicSky

You just reminded me I've got Dishonored in my backlog. Ugh...so many games! 😅
jcdenden.bsky.social
Same here. I've been enjoying The Police as well on some vinyl in recent years, but his work on Spyro is legendary to me.

I don't think it really matters. I hadn't seen Nosferatu yet, but I had a craving for Dracula afterwards, since the stories are so similar but the approach so different.
jcdenden.bsky.social
I'm sure the've got some kind of plan. Somewhere. Somehow.

Step 1: keep on trucking
Step 2:...
Step 3: Profit!

Seems like a solid business plan to me.

You're doing the best you can and that is all you can do. Oglf course this situation comes with mixed emotions. I can't even imagine how heavy that weight must be, but you got this. I'm sure of it.
jcdenden.bsky.social
Definitely still on my watch-list. Can never get enough of Campbell, yet I still have much to see of him.
jcdenden.bsky.social
Watching Coppola's Dracula after Eggers' Nosferatu was brilliant. I can recommend it, two different but brilliant versions of essentially the same story. Eggers focuses on dread, Coppola's version is more of a gothic romance.
jcdenden.bsky.social
Ooooh, I'm long overdue for a rewatch. I might do that after Dracula!

Day 15:
Ash Vs.Evil Dead.

As great as the remake and Rise were, the TRUE Evil Dead sequels can be found in this brilliantly deranged show. Three seasons of sickening gore and a hilarious Bruce Campbell.

#DendensMovieDen. No. 36. Ash Vs. Evil Dead. I know, I know. It’s not a movie, but it’s what we got as Evil Dead 4, 5, and 6 with the character of Ash Williams shooting first and thinking never, taking all the continuity of the original trilogy and taking it places (1/8)
Complete series bluray boxset of Ash Vs. Evil Dead. Ash saying "Number one --never say "ass" or "hole" in my presence ever again" after going through a traumatic experience.

Pat knows how to find 'em. There's a treasure trove of this stuff in videogame history.

Thanks, I appreciate it so much. Same to you. I'm here to stay, so I'm available if you ever need to talk as well. Just so happy you're back!

3 hours to go. Struggling. You give me strength. Thanks!
