like, you could play SH2 and get the Leave, Maria or In Water endings and feel like you got a complete narrative with a proper ending. SHf banks on replaying the game, and while it does way more interesting things with its idea of NG+, it's still asking a LOT from players' time and brains

that's fair! I think with how I've worked things out in my head w/ all the endings accounted for I just specifically really like
the themes the story focuses on. I'm less keen on each individual ending not really feeling "complete" in the same way other SHs have done w/ multiple endings

now that I've had a full day+ to sit and think on everything, I think Silent Hill f makes it to my top 3 Silent Hill games. Behind SH3 which still takes #1 for me, with SH1 and SHf rounding out the top 3. Maybe in that order. The story and art direction reallyyy just speaks to my heart.

I need Requiem to have alternate costumes. 7 and Village had the excuse of being designed for first person but even then I always hated the lack of them bc they feel like such an essential part of the franchise and it's replayability, to me at least. Grace wearing Alyssa's Outbreak outfit. Gimme.
